Cressie Mae Hoops

My Cressie Mae hoop has fast become the only hula hoop I play with. It is very easy to travel with, is beautiful and is just so much fun to hoop with. It’s super light weight design allows me to hoop longer while doing a wider variety of tricks without loosing my breath or having my arms feel like they are going to fall off.

Despite the fact that I have several hula hoops at my house (ten by my last count) I am considering getting another hand-made Cressie Mae hoop because they are just that much fun to flow with.

My cressie mae hoop has a design that is lightweight and convient to carry, Its so confortable and easy to use it really has helped my technique as a beginner hooper!!

I bought a hoop off Cressie’s etsy page and was so pleased by the whole purchase. The hoop arrived safely wrapped in brown paper. Cressie added a super cute little “hoop” keychain that she wrapped in pink. The hoop is sturdy and the grip makes it easy to handle. Watch her videos and be inspired! My beautiful rainbow hoop sits in the living room and just beckons me.

She may be tiny, but she can HOOP and DANCE, and she’s also a great teacher. The other day she was generously offering free hooping lessons in Dolores Park, and I love hooping and I love free, so I decided to check it out. Cressie was looking all cute in sparkly stars face-paint and I asked her for some tips on a particular move and she gave me several great ideas that took me from chicken-dance to Indian-goddess in no-time-flat. Some complete beginners stopped by and she had them up and hooping in minutes. Everyone was smiling, having a great time, and learning some new moves. Cressie also makes these super cute rainbow hoops and hoops in custom color palettes, as well as collapsible hoops. Though she is very modest, Cressie is an accomplished dancer and performer. I purchased a custom made rainbow collapsible hula-hoop from her before my trip to Tennessee and not only did it travel on the plane with ease, but it received a never ending slew of compliments wherever I went.
